From the ferocious to the heavenly, this piano recital features a dramatic selection of piano music beginning with the preludes of Rachmaninoff and culminating in Beethoven's intense Appassionata sonata. Performed by concert pianist Ailsa Aitkenhead. This recital also features music by Spanish composer Manuel De Falla, Turkish pianist/composer Fazil Say, and Ailsa's own piano compositions.
