We are brought gently into the life of John as he recovers from the loss of his wife and discovers the pleasures and challenges of travelling on Edinburgh buses, talking to a London taxi driver, babysitting, sampling Turkish pastries and experiencing the perils, fun and misunderstandings of online dating for the older man.
