Description:
The Lord is my Shepherd: Sacred song of the English musical renaissance. A performance of Benjamin Britten’s stunning Abraham and Isaac, plus three rarely performed Vaughan Williams songs and short works by Quilter and Howells. International tenor Sam Madden is accompanied by Will Sims on piano (director of chapel music at Robinson College, Cambridge). They are joined by Felix Schneideman (countertenor at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral) for Abraham and Isaac.
