Description:
Part of the Fringe Central Events Programme for Fringe participants. How can theatre makers support each other when they are based in a rural area? What are the networks or hubs needed? How can the collective rural voice shape cultural policies dominated by urban-centric views? Join researcher Lindsay Dunbar as she shares alternative cultural models from Denmark, Scotland and England. Discussing these issues are rural theatre makers Dani Rae, Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival, Laura Walker, Play Pieces (Highlands) and Barry Robertson, Capall Dorcha (Ayrshire).
