Description:
In this show, I Robert Inston(is), narrate as informatively as I am able, on the mythology that surrounds the murders in Whitechapel in 1888. Through the voices of Queen Victoria herself, the Commissioner of Police and a notorious suspect nicknamed Leather Apron, a picture emerges that may unsettle. Was there a cover up? Did the press invent Jack the Ripper? Did they write at least some of the boastful letters from a fictional and teasing perpetrator?
